WHAT IS UNIVIEW'S WISE - ISP TECHNOLOGY?

Uniview's Wise-ISP cameras are ONVIF compliant, ensuring integration with any NVR on the market. These CCTV cameras with Wise-ISP change the way of understanding video surveillance in dark environments, as they are able to display a full colour image, in low light conditions, after 9 signal treatment processes. This process makes it possible to display information that until now could not be displayed or was unusable.

WHAT IMPROVEMENTS DOES WISE-ISP BRING TO CAMERAS?

This technology follows years of improvement and evolution by Uniview, from the first generation with IR-Light, through the second generation of StarLight, the third generation with LightHunter and the fourth generation with ColorHunter, which already showed an evolution through hardware improvements. Now, this 5th generation with Nightview technology achieves an incredible image enhancement through software:

  • Improved gloss.
  • Advanced smear control.
  • Dynamic noise reduction.
  • Elimination of motion blur.
  • Restoration of true color.
  • Shadow correction.

Elimination of Smear

Thanks to Wise-ISP, Uniview improves the “ghosting effect” that often occurs on large aperture cameras (F1.0).

This effect causes images or shadows to be blurred, appearing superimposed or duplicated in the video recorded by the camera. When this happens, objects or people appear to move strangely or leave a blurred trail behind them, muddying the image and not allowing the targets to be seen clearly.

With the Wise-ISP correction, it is possible to identify the image of the targets with total clarity, clearly distinguishing their most relevant characteristics.

UMD: artificial intelligence to improve search

WISE-ISP cameras feature UMD (Ultra Motion Detection), Uniview's artificial intelligence based on human and vehicle classification. This feature uses an intelligent algorithm to filter out unwanted motion detection (car headlights, falling leaves, heavy rain, etc.), avoiding generating video recording of the event and unnecessary alerts, and saving storage memory.

In this way, after classification, it is possible to quickly and efficiently search through the recordings in an NVR. This artificial intelligence feature considerably reduces false alarms and optimizes the search time for incidents on the continuous recording, showing only results of interest produced by humans and/or vehicles.

In addition, cameras with Wise-ISP technology, which also feature UMD technology, can be used in conjunction with AcuSearch compatible recorders. This enables target searches to be carried out in low-light scenarios.

ONVIF third-party compatibility

Uniview's Wise-ISP cameras not only revolutionise video surveillance in low light conditions, but also offer total compatibility thanks to their compliance with the ONVIF standard. This ensures that Wise-ISP cameras can be added to third-party systems and work with any ONVIF-compliant system, incorporating solutions from manufacturers such as Hikvision, Dahua, Safire Smart, TVT or Ajax, ensuring flexible and efficient deployment in any security system.
