The Hub is the main element of the Ajax security system. It coordinates the functioning of detectors, transmits the alarms, and communicates with users and the Central Monitoring Stations.
We call this smart control panel because its capabilities can be expanded by using the software. Since its release, Hub has received 9 major and 30 additional updates.
By improving the software, we have significantly increased the number of supported groups, rooms and users, and in addition, the backup battery life is currently 15 hours.
After these great improvements, Ajax launches the advanced version: Hub Plus. One of the main features of this panel is high level of communication reliability, which is attributed to 4 standard channels: Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and both 2G/3G SIM-cards. It helps to ensure the safety of large facilities at extreme levels.
Compared to other control panels of security systems, Hub Plus is a unique element in the number of communication channels. Thanks to its Wi-Fi module, it is possible to place the Hub in the most suitable location, without depending on where the router is installed.
Hub Plus allows the user to insert dual 2G/3G SIM cards, thus having these connections as backup. As a result, the reliability of the Internet connection via mobile networks has increased 4-fold. When Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection is lost, Hub Plus connects to the Internet via a 3G network. If the data does not pass through, Hub Plus switches to backup SIM in a matter of seconds.
Hub Plus inherited the original Hub design in the classic colors, black and white. It received a built-in power supply which allows the device to be powered directly from the electric network of the facility without using a socket. The SmartBracket panel with a tamper provides protection against theft and allows the user to install the hub in just a few minutes. Hub Plus is equipped with a new four-layer board with integrated antennas, energy-efficient components, a high-performance processor, 3 times more RAM, and 2 times more permanent memory. Thanks to all these improvements, Hub Plus offers maximum power for large installations as it can operate with 150 different sensors, up to 50 IP cameras and 25 groups of devices.
